Our vision is “to produce Christ-following disciples who will create churches and change worlds”.
We offer a Diploma of Ministry, Bachelor of Ministry and Bachelor of Theology. These will equip and train you to reach your full potential. Covering a variety of skill sets and offering a number of streams and pathways these nationally available and fully accredited courses are done in partnership with Bethel Church USA and the Australian College of Ministries.
Our courses are a perfect mix of online teaching, hands on training in partnership with your local church plus regular face to face interactive camps, events and more. This gives you the flexibility of online study while still keeping the benefits of on campus study and practical 'face to face' experience.
Each stream has three specialised electives and an opportunity for involvement in an international mission or study tour. If undertaking a stream, students specialise in one area. Alternatively, there is a credential pathway for those with church approval. The conventional Diploma focuses more generally on all ministry areas. This is also available, should a specific stream focus not suit a student’s requirements.
These courses offer comprehensive training that includes practical ministry experience carried out within the life of the local church so that local pastors can help oversee the development of their people.
In addition, our courses offer 'ministry streams' which allow you to be gain academic and practical experience in the specific area of ministry you feel called to. We offer ministry streams in Worship, Missions, Youth, Kids and a special Credential Pathway.
Worship is a lifestyle. It is not simply music and singing. The Worship Stream of the Diploma of Ministry is for those seeking to understand the nature of true worship.
The Worship Stream provides students with specific educational opportunities and outcomes, as well as offering the unique opportunity to attend a two-week educational study tour to the Bethel School of Worship ‘on campus intensive’ at Bethel Church in Redding, California! Specifically, for those who feel called to impart into the next generation in a local and global context, the Mission Stream provides specific educational opportunities and outcomes to equip student for cross-cultural mission work.
The Diploma of Ministry Mission Stream focuses on both local and international context. Students studying the Mission Stream will have the opportunity to practically apply their learning cross-culturally on an International Missions trip.
Specifically, for those who feel called to impart into the next generation of leaders, the Youth Stream provides youth specific educational opportunities and outcomes. Pathways for successful graduates include youth work, youth pastor and chaplaincy.
This introduction to the credential pathway has been designed specifically for those who are exploring the possibility of pursuing a CRC Minister’s Credential. The program incorporates specific information on CRC Trainee Minister Competencies. The Credential Pathway is only open to students who have the formal support of their Senior Pastor and Church Leadership Team, as well as an approved coach in place.
Successful completion of this program does not guarantee the graduate will become a Trainee CRC credentialed minister. Becoming a credential minister is at the discretion of the student’s local church and State credential governance bodies.
The Kids Ministry Stream is for those who feel called to, or are already practically serving the youngest members of our churches.
This Stream provides educational opportunities and outcomes to equip students for ministry specifically for children. As this program includes a chaplaincy unit, possible pathways for successful graduates include chaplaincy or a role as Children’s Pastor.
